Due to popular demand, I am going to try and do this one more time!  The Extreme League is a short fall league played on 4 or 5 Thursdays starting Sept 29.  All matches will be at 7 PM.  Price is $60 a team, but everyone will get a free Extreme League t-shirt.  It is open to all coed 6′s teams.  The bar will be enclosed, and heaters going for adult beverages!  Last years average temp on Thursdays  in Oct was 60 degrees!  This is just a fun, non-competitive round robin league, no tournament… points accumulated each game, team with most total points get prizes.

I need a minimum of 8 teams (and a maximum of 10) to make this happen!  Please email me ASAP if you have a team for this… or there will be a sign up sheet at the bar.

I am going to be participating in an Alzheimer’s walk on Sept 17 and am looking for donations/pledges for a great cause! I lost another of my silver AVP balls last week, so now I will only provide check out VB’s for now on (besides a few ragged warm-up balls). It only takes a few seconds to drop off your keys…

Instead of opening the bar up, I will simply be taking donations for using the courts.  There will be a mail slot at the door, suggested donation for court rental is $2 per hour, per player.  I will have the music on starting at 3 PM, and will have a hose provided in case the courts need to be cooled off.  You are free to bring any beverages as long as there is NO GLASS BOTTLES!  I will return at 9 PM to turn the music back off.  Obviously if there are players using the courts but stiffing me on the donations, I will stop providing this service.  The park volleyball courts are always free!  You are responsible to provide your own VB’s.  Hopefully this will work out better for both of us!  Please pick up your trash, and return the toys to the sand box.

I’ve lost 2 brand new volleyballs, plus one nice AVP ball since last Thursday… if this continues, I will no longer provide VB’s, or they will have to be checked out. This is nuts…

NEW:  All new/nicer balls now have to be checked out with a drivers license.
